Rath Announces "Passports on the Move" coming to Amherst

(Amherst, NY)---Erie County Legislator Edward A. Rath III (15th District) announced today that his office is partnering with the Erie County Clerk's office to host a passport processing day. This will be held on Tuesday, August 25 beginning at 9:30 AM. You must pre-register by calling the Legislator's office at 633-0617.

"I am excited to bring this opportunity to Amherst," stated Rath. "Since a passport is now required for entry to Canada and Mexico, this is a great opportunity for people to get this processed and not have to stand in line."

A schedule of fees and a list of required documents is available by contacting Legislator Rath. "Passports on the Move" can also take your passport photo for a small fee. Passport applications may be downloaded at www.erie.gov/clerk and clicking the passport icon.

Please contact Legislator Rath's office at rathe@erie.gov or by calling 633-0617 to reserve a time slot and receive your passport check list so you have all your documents.
