NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Marilla, in the County of Erie, State of New York, will meet at the Town Hall, 1740 Two Rod Road, Marilla, New York, on October 9, 2008, at 7:30 o’clock P.M. (Prevailing Time), for the purpose of conducting a public hearing in relation to the increase and improvement of facilities of the Refuse and Garbage District, consisting of the acquisition of a garbage packer truck, at an estimated maximum cost of $215,000.
At said public hearing, the Town Board will hear all persons interested in said subject matter thereof.

Notice to the Citizens of the Town of Marilla
A public hearing will be held on October 11th 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marilla Town Hall, 1740 Two Rod Road, Marilla,New York regarding the use of Federal Community Development funds in the Town of Marilla.
The Town of Marilla is eligible for a Federal Community Development grant under Title I of the Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.
The purpose of the Hearing is to provide an opportunity for citizens to express community development and housing needs and to discuss possible projects or programs to meet those needs, particularly projects which would benefit low and moderate income persons in the Town of Marilla.
Citizens are urged to attend this meeting to make known their views and /or written proposals on the Town of Marilla's selection of potential projects to be submitted for possible funding by the Federal Community Development Grant program.
The Hearing will also present a review of prior Community Development projects and expenditures and a discussion of eligible activities. The meeting room is wheelchair accessible. Those needing special arrangements should call the Town of Marilla Clerk's Office at 652-5350 by October 5, 2007.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that there has been presented to the Town Board on September 11, 2008, for adoption a proposed Local Law to be known as "Local Law No. 4 of the Year 2008" entitled "Alarm Device Law of the Town of Marilla ". The proposed Local Law will regulate alarm devices in the Town of Marilla setting forth minimum standards for alarm devices and systems and setting forth penalties for avoidable alarms.
THEREFORE, pursuant to the Municipal Home Law Rules and Local Law No. 4 of the Year 2008 of the Town of Marilla, the Town Board of the Town of Marilla shall hold a Public Hearing on the aforesaid proposed Local Law at the Town Hall, 1740 Two Rod Road, Marilla, New York at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th day of October, 2008, at which time all persons interested may be heard. Copies of the aforesaid proposed Local Law are available at the office of the Town Clerk for inspection and distribution to any interested person during business hours. The meeting room is wheel chair accessible. Those needing special arrangements should call the Town Hall at 652-5350 by October 3, 2008.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that there has been presented to the Town Board on September 11, 2008, for adoption a proposed Local Law to be known as "Local Law No. 5 of the Year 2008" entitled "Amendment to the Zoning Law of the Town of Marilla ". The proposed Local Law will clarify the Zoning Law by eliminating references to cats and to animals in provisions strictly intended to refer to dogs.
THEREFORE, pursuant to the Municipal Home Law Rules and Local Law No. 5 of the Year 2008 of the Town of Marilla, the Town Board of the Town of Marilla shall hold a Public Hearing on the aforesaid proposed Local Law at the Town Hall, 1740 Two Rod Road, Marilla, New York at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th day of October, 2008, at which time all persons interested may be heard.
