About the senior citizens in the Town of Newstead and Village of Akron:

- Luncheon reservations (should be made seven (7) days in advance) - 542-6645
- Rural Travel Service available (by appointment only) 741-9709
- Going places van on Tuesday and Friday - 858-RIDE

- Pot Luck Luncheon - 3rd Wednesday each month at the Newstead Fire Hall
