Sheriff Asks For Donation of Used Cars

Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard is asking the public for donations of good, clean, reliable used cars. These cars will be used for a variety of Law Enforcement tasks including narcotics, investigative and other non-patrol functions.

The donor will receive a document attesting to the donation and approximate value of the vehicle which might have tax relief benefits. Donors should check with their qualified financial and tax advisor.

If interested, please call Chief Brian Doyle, at (716) 858-7630 or send a letter to Chief Brian Doyle at Erie County Sheriff's Office, 10 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, New York 14202.

Good prospects will result in our fleet Manager visiting the donor and giving the vehicle a "once over".
