HOLLAND MAN ARRESTED FOR RECKLESS DRIVING
January 30, 2010- Town of Holland- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Holland man for various Vehicle and Traffic charges following a complaint of reckless driving.
Deputies Chris Parisi and Don Hoelscher arrested Jeffrey H. Letson (32) after investigating a citizen complaint on North Canada Street where Letson drove his vehicle dangerously close to a resident outside their home causing a very dangerous situation. Letson was charged with Reckless Driving, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Operating with a Suspended Registration, Driving Without a License and Failure to Keep Right. Letson was also wanted on an arrest warrant for Driving While Intoxicated by the Village of Depew. Letson was transported to the Holding Center to await arraignment on his charges in Holland Town Court.
Amanda J. Mahiques (21) also of Holland was arrested for Second Degree Obstruction of Governmental Administration for attempting to hide Letson in her residence and prevent him from being arrested by Sheriff's Patrols. She was processed and released on Appearance Ticket for Holland Court.
