FELONY WARRANT ARREST FROM ARKANSAS
June 10, 2009- Town of Sardinia- 9:00 AM Erie County sheriff Tim Howard reports that a subject who was wanted on a felony warrant out of the State of Arkansas was apprehended at his Town of Sardinia residence.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Hot Springs Arkansas Police Department who had received information that Shane Knight , 24, was residing on West Avenue in Sardinia. The Hot Springs officers reported that they had an outstanding warrant for him, charging him with felony kidnapping and misdemeanor assault.
Knight was located at his residence at 9:00 AM on June 10th, 2009 and was arrested without incident. He was transported to the Erie County Holding Center to await extradition by Arkansas officials.
