June 19, 2009- 10:43PM- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of Cassadaga resident for felony Driving While Intoxicated.
Deputy Doug Grube assisted the Seneca Nation Marshals with a vehicle stop on Brant Reservation Rd. on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. The driver of the vehicle, Christopher Debicki, age 42, of Rocky Glen Rd., Cassadaga failed several field sobriety tests. He was arrested for DWI. Debicki did submit to a chemical test to determine his blood alcohol concentration. The test result was .24% BAC. Debicki was convicted of DWI in 2005 making this arrest a felony charge.
Debicki was also charged with Endangering the Welfare of Child. He had his 7 year-old daughter in the vehicle when he was arrested for DWI. The daughter was turned over to her mother. Debicki was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in Brant Court.
Deputy Robert Kolmetz also assisted with the arrest.
