LOCKPORT WOMAN CHARGED WITH DWI & DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS IN CLARENCE
July 21, 2009- Town of Clarence- 1035 HRS: Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that a two-car accident on Transit Rd., in the Town of Clarence resulted in a 47 yr old Lockport woman being arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
Erie County Sheriff's Deputies Robert Rine and Darryl DeMari investigated a two-car accident on Transit Rd. in Clarence. A vehicle being operated by Alison Albers age 47 of the Town of Lockport rear-ended another vehicle. Albers was taken to Lockport Memorial Hospital with a neck injury; while at the hospital she was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving under the Influence of Drugs.
She was released on traffic summonses and will be arraigned in the Town of Clarence Court at a later date.
