GRAND ISLAND TEENS ARRESTED FOR LARCENY OF VEHICLES
Town of Grand Island- July 24, 2009- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of 3 Grand Island teenagers in connection with larceny of several vehicles.
A concerned citizen called Sheriff's 911 to report that his truck was being broken into. Upon patrols' arrival, the concerned citizen had caught one of the suspects and was holding him for police. Deputies Kristin Rozycki, Bradley Girdler and Sergeant Bert Dunn responded to the location. Their investigation led to the recovery of numerous stolen items and the identities of 2 additional suspects.
Jacob I Madia age 18 of Grand Island was charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Mischief 4th. Daniel J McKenna age 18 of Grand Island and Alex M Hultgren age 18 of Grand Island were each charged with Petit Larceny. All 3 men were released on appearance tickets, returnable to the Town of Grand Island Court.
