August 14, 2009- Cattaraugus Indian Reservation- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Salamanca resident for Driving While Intoxicated.
Deputy Ken Achtyl assisted the Seneca Marshals with a traffic stop on Route 438 on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. The driver of the vehicle, Brandon Rychcik, age 27, of Division St. in Salamanca failed several field sobriety tests. He was arrested for DWI. Rychcik did submit to a chemical test to determine his blood alcohol concentration. The test result was .19% BAC.
Rychcik was released to a family member and will appear in court at a later date.
