EDEN MAN ARRESTED ON FELONY DWI IN SARDINIA
August 15, 2009- Town of Sardinia- 1710 HRS: Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Town of Eden man for Felony Driving While Intoxicated.
While on patrol, Deputies Shawn Hediger and James Flowers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on South Protection Road in the Town of Sardinia. Their investigation led to the arrest of George D. Plarr, age 44 of the Town of Eden for Driving While Intoxicated. Mr. Plarr had a previous conviction for Driving While Intoxicated in 2001, which upgraded the charge to a Felony.
Mr. Plarr refused to submit to a breath test. Mr. Plarr was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center without bail, pending arraignment in Town of Sardinia court.
