DOMESTIC ASSAULT IN VILLAGE OF NORTH COLLINS
August 23, 2009- Village of North Collins: Erie County Sheriff Timothy B Howard reports the arrest of a Kenmore man after a domestic incident with his girlfriend in the Village of N.Collins.
Erie County Sheriffs Deputies Jeff Hicks and Shawn Young report that Ryan Ayers age 29 of Kenmore NY was arrested after he got into an argument with his girlfriend Renee Meredith age 29 of the Village of N.Collins. Mr.Ayers broke her door and knocked her down injuring her leg and arm. He then broke the phone off the wall. Mr.Ayers then left the residence, was located by Deputies Hicks and Young and arrested.
After being taken back to the North Collins sub-station Mr.Ayers became unruly and damaged a glass block wall at the sub-station.
He was charged with Criminal Mischief (3 counts) Assault 3rd and Harrasment 2nd.
He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center with no bail. He will be arraigned in North Collins court.
