BURGLARY IN THE TOWN OF ELMA
August 29, 2009- Town of Elma0 6:50 PM- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of an Elma man.
Deputies Tom Meredith and Jim Welch responded responded to a Burglary in progress call on Clinton St. in the Town of Elma. The Suspect was gone on arrival. The complainant reported various items missing including a .22 Caliber Long gun. After a search of multiple addresses in Elma and Wyoming County, subject was located at a Thomas Rd. address in the Town of Varysburg, Wyoming County. The suspect was identified as Timothy A. Kukula age 47 of Elma. The gun and various property was recovered.
The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office assisted in locating and securing the suspect. Mr. Kukula was charged with Burglary 2nd and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center without bail.
