DOMESTIC INCIDENT IN TOWN OF SPRINGVILLE
August 29, 2009- Village of Springville- 11:31 AM- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Machias resident involved in a domestic incident.
Deputies Dave Barbaritz and Nathan Bork responded to a domestic dispute between to adult sisters on East Main St in the Village of Springville. While the Deputies were mediating the dispute the women's father physically interfered with the deputies. He had to be subdued with the use of pepper spray and was taken into custody.
Kenneth Proudy, age 40, of Rosyk Hill, Machias was charged with Obstructing, Menacing, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in Springville Court at a later date.
