HOME INVASION IN TOWN OF SARDINIA
August 30, 3009- Town of Sardinia- 0100 HRS: Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of an Arcade man in connection to a home invasion.
Deputies Chris Parisi, Scott Kuhlmey and Jason Bouton responded to a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Deputies found a man stabbed in the chest and back. Their investigation and interviews revealed that a business associate had broken into the victim's house and attacked him. The suspect had fled the scene prior to the deputies' arrival.
The victim was transported to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville for treatment of 2 stab puncture wounds. Deputies located the suspect at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, who was being treated for injuries he had sustained during the assault of the victim. The suspect, Todd A. Hittle, age 43 of Arcade, was charged with Assault 1st, Burglary 1st, Criminal Mischief 4th and Aggravated Harassment by Deputy Parisi.
Mr. Hittle was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center without bail.
