September 4, 2009- Town of Clarence- 1336 HRS: Erie County Sheriff Timothy B Howard reports that a 2-car injury accident on Transit Rd. Clarence lead to narcotics charges against a 25 year old Cheektowaga women.
Erie county Sheriff's Deputies Steve Smith and Angela Kopacz investigated a two-car accident on Transit Rd where a vehicle being operated by Tracy Piech age 26 of Cheektowaga rear-ended another vehicle. Both operators were taken to Millard Fillmore Suburban hospital with minor injuries. A check of Tracy Piech's vehicle found numerous unlabeled plastic containers containing 450 assorted pills. The pills turned out to be assorted pain pills and muscle relaxers including hydrocodone and oxycontin.
She was charged with Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 7th degree ( 9 cts) and Public Health Law 3345 Possession of Controlled Substance Outside Original Containers ( 9 cts)
Miss Piech was at Millard Fillmore Suburban for observation. She was issued appearance tickets returnable to Clarence court
