VILLAGE OF AKRON MAN ARRESTED FOR WEAPONS & NARCOTICS CHARGE
Town of Newstead- September 26, 2009- 23:30 HRS- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of an Akron man on weapons and narcotics charges.
Deputies Jim Welch, Emily Nelson and Brandon Stott responded to a disturbance call on Main St. Town of Newstead. Their investigation led to the arrest of Morgan L Cox age 41 of Akron, NY for PL 265.01 Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th, PL 220.03 Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Public Health Law 3382 Unlawful Growing of Cannabis and PL 221.05 Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Mr. Cox was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center without bail.
