TOWN OF GRAND ISLAND MAN ARRESTED FOR DWI/FELONY AGGRAVATED UNLICENSE OPERATION ARREST

Town of Grand Island- September 26, 2009- 4:00 AM- i Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Grand Island man for Driving While Intoxicated and Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation. Nicholas P. DiMatteo was stopped by Deputies Tom Meredith and Kristen Rozycki on East Park Road on Grand Island. DiMatteo was driving while intoxicated with a revoked license from a prior conviction for Driving While Ability Impaired. DiMatteo refused to take a chemical test to determine his blood alcohol level. He was transported to the Holding Center to await arraignment in Grand Island Court.
