TOWN OF ALDEN MAN ARRESTED FOR FELONY DWI
October 5, 2009- Town of Alden- Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard reports the arrest of an Alden man in regards to a felony DWI.
Deputy Simon Biegasiewicz responded to a 911 call on a personal injury auto accident on Genesee Street in the Town of Alden. His investigation resulted in the arrest of Gene Norton, age 63 of the Town of Alden for Diving While Intoxicated and numerous traffic infractions.
Mr. Norton refused to submit to a breath test. Mr. Norton was charged with felony DWI due to a previous conviction for DWI.
He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center without bail.
