Village Board

The Village Board of Trustees, the legislative body responsible for the overall operation of the Village, consists of the Mayor and four Trustees, all of whom are elected to four-year terms.

Eligibility for election or appointment:

To be eligible for election to the Board of Trustees the following requirements must be met:

Each member has one vote with a majority vote required for the passage of most legislation. The Mayor, the chief executive officer has no veto power over legislative action of the board.

Every year the Mayor assigns each board member to be liaisons to various departments and outside organizations. Listed below are the members of the Alden Village Board and their liaison assignments:
